New Orleans

We took a two day trip down to New Orleans while Joni, Emmett, Luke and Mom Jay were here. We stayed at a hotel in the French Quarter. It smelled super bad in New Orleans but we had fun. We rode the trolley, walked around the river walk, rode the ferry, ate beignets at Cafe du Monde looked around the french quarter and went to a cemetery. It was a busy two days.

Emmett is such a good boy. He slept the whole way there. He slept most of the way back too. He never cried even when he woke up in the dark and it was me and Pete and not his mom.

I love all the pics! I made a bunch of comments on Facebook just now. That was so fun going to New Orleans. The morning of I suddenly wondered if it was really worth it to drive 4 hours there and back, but it totally was, and trees around the freeway and all the sights made the drive go by quickly. I loved it. Thanks for going all that way for us!
