My Hero

President Gordon B. Hinckley passed away a week ago. He was one of my Heroes. President Hinckley was an amazing example of charity and optimism. He inspired me and so many others to be a better person and live life to its fullest. He completely dedicated his life to the Lord. He and his wife set a wonderful example of a happy marriage. I loved hearing his testimony and counsel. He accomplished so many things in his lifetime and will be greatly missed!

Baby Block Cake

I made a baby block cake for my friend Joane's baby shower last weekend. It was my first attempt at decorating a cake. I thought I did a pretty good job. :) It tasted pretty amazing too!

Indian Food

Pete and I both love Indian Food. We decided to have Indian food night at the Jay house a few weeks ago. We made Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan bread and mango shakes. It was fun experimenting with a new type of food. The food turned out awesome and was super spicy!! We will definitely be adding this meal to our list of favorites. New Blog

I thought we would start a Blogger blog since that is the blog site everyone else seems to have. Blogger seems to be a little more user friendly for a new blogger like me than Wordpress blog.
